Privacy
This page covers the Scope connector for AI assistants at this address. Scope's main privacy policy is at canvascope.org/privacy.
What we keep
- Your Scope account id, email address, and time zone.
- Each assistant you connect: its name, when you connected it, and when it was last used.
- The sign-ins for accounts you connect (Google, Canvas), stored encrypted.
- A log of which tools ran, when, and whether they worked, for 30 days. It never includes what was read, written, or sent.
What we don't keep
Your emails, calendar events, files, documents, and course content are fetched when your assistant asks for them and passed straight to it. We don't store them, sell them, or use them to train AI models. Your assistant's own provider handles the conversation under its own privacy policy.
When you connect Google, the connector uses only the permissions you approve, and only to do what you ask your assistant to do. Scope's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. People at Scope don't read your Google data.
Your choices
Disconnect any assistant or account, or delete everything the connector keeps for you, on Manage connections. You can also remove access from Google at myaccount.google.com/connections and delete your Canvas token in Canvas.
